Personas are a realistic representation of the key audience to help designers think of the needs of the users.
Below is our personas for our commuter app:
Primary Persona: Sally Jane
Meet Sally:
Sally is a first year student at The Ohio State University majoring in mathematics. Her parents live very close to campus. In order to help save money, Sally has decided to live with her parents for her first year at college. None of her high school friends decided to go to OSU, so she does not have any friends. She fears that she will not find friends, have cold lunches, and have to walk to and from the RPAC every day just to store her items.
Secondary Persona: John Adams
Meet John:
John has just graduated from The Ohio State University with his teaching degree. He got hired at Hilliard Davidson High School. He has been offered a raise if he completes his Master’s degree. John has decided to take classes part time at OSU on afternoons to complete his Master’s degree. John is looking for a place to store his items during his classes, a place to warm up his dinner, and a place to sit in between his classes.
